i wanted to blog yesterday but im down with a fever, sore throat and aching limbs and back. thus, i decided not to. i was actually down with fever on the first day of school.(darn it!) i did not know what to do. mama asked me to take MC but i dont know who to contact if i want to take MC. moreover, i dont wanna miss my first day of school. so i took panadol, hoping that the fever would subside. i woke up at 0530 yesterday morning and realised that i had fever and a very terrible sore throat. so mama gave me panadol before i slept for another hour. woke up at 0630 feeling much better and prepared for school. on my way to school, i was feeling very light-headed and my legs were so heavy that i walked very very slowly. in the end, i reach school after 0830 when i was supposed to meet my cui, xin, wei qi and jia wen at 0830. when i was in school, i wasn't feeling very well but i could do nothing except for taking more panadol. the condition worsen on my way home that i went straight to bed the moment i reach home.
yesterday, we had Creative and Applied Thinking Skills (CATS) and Sport And Wellness (snw). CATS lesson were quite ok. during snw, we learned the basics of Cha Cha and it was very interesting as i had never tried ballroom dancing before. however, unlike those you see in TV where the beginners would tend to step on their partner's feet during practising, it never occur to me and my partner. at the end of the lesson, our feet were not covered with any blue black nor did we had any bruises.
when i woke up today morning, i was feeling much much better. my fever had subsided but the sore throat still remains. however, there came flu and i had blocked nose for the whole day. i can only breath through my mouth. how irritating!! so, went to school earlier hoping that i would be able to reach earlier. BUT, im still the last one to reach. then i realised that they all reach earlier than 0830!! so its not that im late. they all live near school so they are able to reach school faster than me. however, i have to spend 1 hour plus travelling from AMK to school plus traffic jam. haiz..
today, we had SAWI and mindworks. SAWI was actually like SS in our secondary school where we have to learn about singapore's politics, history and etc etc etc... SAWI only lasted for 2 hours unlike other classes which lasted for 4 hours. as a result, we had 4 hours plus of lunch!! we are meeting the rest at 1300 for lunch and so jia wen and i had like 2 hrs of free time. we did not know what to do, so we went to tour the campus, looking for the route to our next class which starts at 1500. after that, we went all the way to the sports complex to get our bottles filled as it seems that sport complex is the only place which have water cooler. then, back to the atrium and we practically sat there and rot. we then decided to go to the library after rotting at the atrium for 20 minutes or so. this is so different from secondary school. in secondary school, we have only 1 hour of lunch break at most and its my first time having 4 hours of lunch break. so we were kinda loss and just went wandering around like some homeless ghost. jia wen then received a call at the library from cui xin telling us that they have finish their lesson and we went to canteen 1 and look for them. after lunch, we slacked for a while before going for mindworks. mindworks was kinda boring as i dont even know what the teacher is talking about. all i know was that the module is about our mind and body are interlinked and stuff. i was coughing so badly during mindworks that my voice changed and i couldn't concentrate also.
right now, my sore throat got worse and my block nose became a combination of runny and block nose. but, its still better than having a fever. hope that i can get better tml so i can enjoy snw lesson. hahax!!
