well, since i have not been blogging for quite some time, i shall make this post short and simple (maybe not too short). or else, this will be a very very long post if i were to go into details.

9th - 12th march

i was away at bintan for camp! well, its my first ever overseas camp and all i can say is that the camp was simply awesome! i enjoyed the time spent there. we have all been regrouped but i was still in the same group as cui xin and kai teng. haha.. this time round, im in group H and our group name is Hitler Hung. ~woots~ anyway, we did quite a lot of activities which requires each and everyone of us to be committed and at the same time, train us to be a leader. we also had lecture regarding team work and leadership in between the activities and i realised that the stuffs taught there were quite useful as we are going to do a lot of projects in groups in the near future. there is also written assessment every night after dinner and it was like writing SS essays. 10m/20m for one or one and a half page. ever since SS exam is over, i had never hand-written any long essays within 30 minutes. it kinda reminds me of the time when we had SS class test and we were to complete them within one period. we also had practical assessment on the second last day and our group only managed to complete 2 stations out of the 4. but still, GREAT JOB!!!

anyway, there was this activity on the second last day which requires us to give this gem to people whom we wish to thank and acknowledge. i have no idea why but i felt rather emotional at that time and i cried. as in really cried. it all started when i approached my facilitor and thank her. i would really want to thank her as she taught me that i have to make my own stand and make myself heard when i volunteered to be the leader. so, the emotion which i have been suppressing for quite some time just came out and i went around hugging all the friends that i have met in NPP especially friends whom im really close with. cui xin, the first person in the group whom i met on the first day of NPP camp, weiqi and cally, my CATS and Mindworks classmates and MW groupmates, jiawen, my SAWI classmates and gossip butts, kai teng, my buddy for NPP camp and my roommate for this camp and and.. also my usual cliques, yong chee and anson. really hope that our friendships last.

13th march

met up with jiawen, yong chee and anson in school for the lappy fair. thanks a lot people!! for helping me to compare the lappys and also explain the functions and stuff. (as im an IT noob. hehe..) thereafter, we went to the IT fair at suntec. it was VERY crowded. i didnt expect it as it was a friday. anyway, i bought a 8 GB thumbdrive from the fair which cost me $27.

14th march

today, i went to get my lappy! ~woots~ cant wait to use it. but the person said that i have to charge it for 12 hours first, then drain the battery but i cant watch videos and play music and then charge it AGAIN for another 12 hours before i can use it. =.= upon hearing this, i had 3 lines across my forehead immediately. initially i thought i could use my lappy once i reach home. but who knows... jiawen and cui xin were also in school and thus, they came and look for me and accompany me to get my lappy. ~thanks!~ went to get my software installed with cui xin after getting our lappy.

well well, its time for me to post some pictures!!! jiawen will be coming to my house tml to fixed my com. thanks a lot and sorry for the trouble butt! hehe...
